Your Washington County School District Data Center consists of two teams, MIS and IT.
Our MIS team is our districts liaison with Focus and manages our Student Information System. This team reviews, edits and analyzes data and sends to DOE at survey intervals so that WCSD receives funding based upon FTE. They train WCSD staff how to use Focus along with many other duties.
Our IT team is responsible with keeping our schools/sites connected via internet to ... I will just summarize some of their responsibilities; Network Security, switches, computers, printers, access points, phones, cameras, Clear Touch boards, student's/staff user/email accounts, setting up digitized education for classroom curriculum, electronic door users and a liaison to all vendors involved with IT.
